How are the works printed?

Epson Enhanced Matte Paper is selected for exceptional cartographic detail and a refined, glare-free finish. It is a bright-white, ultra-smooth matte paper that reproduces terrain shading, contour lines and typography with strong clarity while maintaining subtle highlights and tonal detail.

Standard Canvas is selected for immersive, large-scale statement pieces. It is a durable 360 gsm canvas with a slight surface texture and richer physical presence at flagship size.

A1 Editions are printed on Epson Enhanced Matte.

Flagship Works are offered as a Precision Edition on Epson Enhanced Matte and a Gallery Edition on Standard Canvas.

Artwork is reproduced faithfully at full resolution; never redrawn, regenerated or simplified.

What sizes are available?

A1 Editions are printed at 594 × 841 mm. Orientation is shown on each product listing.

Flagship Works are large-format pieces ranging from approximately 1016–1041 mm wide by 1524–1829 mm long. Exact dimensions and orientation are provided on each product listing.

How are they shipped?

Works are wrapped and rolled in protective tubes for courier dispatch. Domestic shipping and handling within South Africa is included in the listed price.

A1 Editions are shipped rolled in protective tubes. Flagship Works are also shipped rolled and unframed in longer protective tubes due to their large format. These larger works require size-appropriate courier handling, which is already allowed for in the listed South African price.

Please take care when removing paper or canvas works from their tubes. Damage caused by rough unpacking, bending, creasing, scratching, marking, improper detubing or mishandling after delivery is not covered by the replacement policy.

What are the lead times?

Each piece is specially printed and packaged for each order.

A1 works typically require 2–3 working days for production, plus courier delivery time. Courier delivery to major South African centres is usually 2–3 working days, area dependent; outlying areas can add a further 2 working days.

As a general guide, please allow approximately 4–6 working days for major urban areas and 5–8 working days for outlying areas from payment confirmation.

Flagship Works are printed to order. Epson Enhanced Matte Flagship prints typically require 2–3 working days for production. Standard Canvas Flagship prints typically require 3–4 working days for production. Courier delivery time is additional and area dependent.

Do you frame the works?

Works ship unframed so you can frame or install them to suit your space. Paper works are supplied rolled in protective tubes.

Selected Flagship Works are available as Standard Canvas prints with an additional canvas allowance of approximately 8 cm on all sides, making them suitable for local stretching after delivery.

34 Degrees Design does not currently provide framing or stretching. Framing and stretching guidance is available on request.

International shipping?

International shipping is available on request and quoted separately at cost, based on destination, packaging and courier requirements.

International courier fees can change quickly depending on courier availability, airline routing, flight availability and final quote timing. Once an international shipping quote is provided, it may need to be confirmed and paid promptly to secure that rate.
