Movement infrastructure is the most durable thing built into a town, and often the most damaging. An expressway, a rail corridor or an arterial through a main street sets what is possible for decades — and can be revisited.

The work spans two directions: making a movement system serve a place better, and using investment in that system as a catalyst for development, town centre revitalisation and public-realm quality rather than treating it as a purely engineering exercise.
